Because mud is the main cause of zipper failure, the bibs’ venting side zippers have protective flaps and end at the knee where they’re replaced by snaps down to the cuffs. We also worked alongside Gore to create a waterproof/breathable fabric that mimic the color and UV reflection profile of snow goose feathers so you’re not seen as a threat in the field. Typical SITKA Quality, (Very Good) Fit is size appropriate for wearing over other clothes. Finally somebody who makes a bib that has snaps on the bottom of the legs and not a zipper that goes full length. I am not sure how / why everybody makes bibs that are so long that you walk on or step on the end of the legs. Trying to get them shortened when they have a full length zipper is very costly. SITKA got it right on these, the zipper stops about 10" from the bottom and that last part of the leg is closed with snaps. SUPER EASY to get them shortened to fit your leg length so you don't ruin them by constantly walking on them. Zipper long enough to cover top of knee high boots keeping them waterproof. Snaps/buttons close the same storm flap inside the zippered portion. Perfect for SnowGoose hunting.
