I’m 6’1” and 235/240 on any given day…and ordered the 2xl long sleeve shirt. I usually go between an XL and a 2XL for other shirts or a 17 1/2 or 18/34-35 in dress shirts. My body type is that of a whiskey barrel on toothpicks if you need a visualization.The shirt is cool and will be the envy of many as I pump Mele Kalikimaka throughout the office on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie in mid to late December.The good:100% polyester- so no shrinkingGreat printUnique buttonsThe body is loose (but not to loose) on my frameThe not so good (but not bad):I feel like I could “fat guy in a little coat” (from the movie Tommy Boy) this shirt. I have pretty wide shoulders and this shirt tightens up to the point where I couldn’t give someone an awkward Christmas hug as my arms can’t physically reach around them while in the shirt. Well I could, but fabric would be tearing and that may scare away the guests. However, when thinking about my Hawaiian shirt collection (that all middle-aged husky men have), most do feel like I could Hulk (as in green Marvel guy/Lou Ferrigno) out of them at any given moment.Also the sleeves are just a touch to long, but not obnoxious.I would buy again as the teal color and pattern are pretty cool. I received lots of compliments on the pattern.
