Brooks makes great running shows and this is no different. Like them so much I bought them in 3 colors. My only gripe is they feel a bit heavy so probably not a great race day option but for training they are top notch.Cushion is great.Nice look. Comfortable heel. Purchased a size up (9) and it was still to narrow for me. Great looking shoe. Just doesn't fit my foot.The shoes are much more comfortable than I expected. I recently started running and after attempting to in my reebok nano, my feet were killing me. These shoes were well priced and have great reviews. Gave them a shot and am not disappointed. Even ordered a pair for my wife.Read numerous reviews before buying these. I am a forefoot striker and have had a number of foot issues since turning 40. Brooks Ghost were my last pair of running shoes and they are more neutral foot strike and cushion so not much improvement in my toe box pain level.I was suspicious of the fit and feel after receiving them. The tongue is silly. It is not a full tongue, it is sewn in at the very top leaving little room to put your foot in. I have narrow feet with high arches so it hasn't been an issue... ever... until now. Once you do get the tongue pushed back into the shoe and flat it is barely noticeable. What IS noticeable immediately is the rear heel cup. Many reviewers noted the tight heel cup and the odd placement of the band around your upper Achilles area. It is lower than most shoes but so tight that it rubs with every movement.I have run for a long time and typical first 2 or 3 runs in a shoe result in some discomfort and blisters. If you are not prepared for this then Levitate will likely get bad reviews. I was prepared and I can tell you the tightness feels great and the "heat" from the contact point goes away after a couple runs.The best part is that the Levitate actually allows me to run more than 1x per week now. The forefoot cushion is excellent. The rigidity of the spine is enough to prevent arch strain, which forefoot runners are very familiar with. Overall this is a great shoe for forefoot strikers with the understanding that you need to break them in.Would be great if there were some more interesting colors and patterns available.Where do I start, weird tongue that you have to force, into the shoe, really really tight, on the upper foot because of the strange design of the tongue, I did go a size up, I got them, and tried then on in the house, both my feet went numb, sent back, got some ghost 14s well worth the extra money.I loved my Levitate 2 running shoes, which I wore out to the holes. I was exited, when I saw this pair in this gorgeous colour. I ordered a pair in my usually "running shoes" size, which turned out to be too small. I have exchange the item for a half-size bigger but was still too tight and very uncomfortable. Had to return it again. Great customer service, unfortunately not very good product.these seem lighter than others? only just started wearing them - DEFINITELY much much POORER QUALITY!! are these knock offs or faulty ??have I been conned??received the trainers at the 2nd attempt after the wrong make being sent, looked fine and liked the look of them unfortunately I didnt look at the size. Had them 3 weeks and decided to wear them size 9.5 sent instead of a 10. Im going back to buying from a shop in futureI have been running for 7 years doing 25-30k a week. First time in this name…and not the last. Excellent shoe. Comfortable. Nice fit. Will buy another pair.
